Key steps:
- Wait 60 minutes from the time it was removed from the fridge
- Patient must be positioned with buttock exposed prior to adding diluent to powder
- After diluent added to the powder, shake for 60 seconds
- Verify that the powder is completely dissolved with no clumps – if not completely dissolved, shake for another 60 seconds
- Switch to injection needle immediately and inject, cannot delay
