  1. This paper (subject is trauma but applies to all uncontrolled bleeding) also recommends the following:

    – Warm patient, any fluids/blood, room
    – Calcium, if massive transfusion
    – Hydrocortisone 100 mg
    – Vasopressin 5-10 IU
    – Antibiotics
